The BSET Endovascular Training Course was held Tn 2023 for senior vascular 8n(S interventional
radiology tr8ineès. Attendees were taught in small group sesssons looknng 81 the finer points of endovascular
treatment alongside sndusty who provk1ed h8nd￿n prac*al tr*ning on 5UFgical dewce5.
The BSET Fellowship Programme w8s advertised for 2023 and one End0¥as￿L1[ Training Fellowship was
appointed vtho undertook a six trdining post at St Georges Hosortal. London. Two Endovascular Travel
Fel￿w5 were appointed. and ftmding was gNen to $4wt frjrther traMing in sperAaknst endovascular unts In

I report to the trustees on my examination of the financial statements of Britssh Society Of Endovascular

As the trustees of the charity you are responsible for the preparation of the financial statemenls in accordanee
with the requirements of the CharitiesAct 2011 Ilhe 2011 Acll.

2011 Act. carrying out my examination I have followed als the applicable Direth"ons given by the Charity
Commission under section 145{5llbl of the 2011 Act.

Since the charity's gross income exceeded £250.000 your examiner musl be a member of a body listed in
section 145 of the 2011 Act. l Confirm that l am qualffied to undertake the examination because l am a member
of ICAEW, which is one of the listed bcdies.
Your attention is drawn to the fact that the charity has p￿pared financial statements in accOrda￿e with
Accounting and Reporting by Charrties preparing their accounts in a￿rdance with the Financial Reporting
Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland IFRS 1021 in preference to the Accounting and
Reporting by Charits"es". Ststement of Recommended Practice issued on 1 April 2005 vthich is referred to in the
exianl regulations but has now been wrthdrawn.

accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Practice effective for reporting periods beginning on or after 1
