was a closure of 12 weeks due to building and refurbishment works. Visitor numbers, however, are still significantly up from last year: more SEN schools, adult residential facilities and disability community groups have used the centre, we have also started a baby / preschool music and play group in November 2022 offering term time group sessions for all abilities at preschool age. Visitor numbers for this period were 1,577 centre visitors, all booked visitors have a person with additional needs in their family/group. There were a further 49 baby/toddler groups totalling 294 children under 5 plus their accompanying adult. For the toddler group, around a quarter of the children are on the autistic spectrum or suspected to be. This brings the total to 2,165 over the year in total.
