continued to provide pre-school
education to local children between
April 2022 and March 2023.
A trial was introduced in 2022 to reduce
the minimum age for children attending
from 2 years, 4 months to 2 years. This
trial also extended the opening time of
the provision to 9am from 11:25am.
The aim of this trial was to identify
whether the provision could better serve
the needs of the local community and
increase attendance.

Para 1.21 The balance for the provision as at 31
March 2023 was £38,461.66. This was an
increase from the end of the previous
financial year of £7,693.12.
The total turnover was £43,451.56 and
expenses were £35758.44.

balance was an increase in income,
