Activities
Our strategic objective is to make the Keynsham and Saltford community more aware and supportive of people living with dementia and their families, friends and carers. Do do this we run Music for the Mind sessions twice monthly, we train people to become Dementia Friends and we identify issues and promote action to improve the lives of those living with dementia.
Objects: The Objects Of The CIO Are:the Object Of The CIO Is Relieve The Need Of People With Dementia And Their Carers And Family In The Keynsham And Saltford Areas By:-(A) Building Awareness Of The Nature And Challenge Of Dementia;(b) Educating Local Business And Organisations On Providing Dementia Friendly Environments;(c) Running Events To Support Those Living With Dementia And Their Carers;(d) Influencing The Local Community On Issues That Could Improve The Lives Of Those With Dementia And Their Carers;(e)seeking Association With Business And Organisations In The Area;(f)consulting Those Affected By Dementia And Their Carers To Provide Guided Support;(g)providing A Point Of Reference For Those Affected By Dementia Or Those Wishing To Make The Community A Better Place For Those Affected.nothing In This Constitution Shall Authorise An Application Of The Property Of The CIO For The Purposes Which Are Not Charitable
