## **The Objects of the Charity**
To promote for the benefit of the public the conservation protection and improvement of the physical and natural environment of, in particular but not exclusively, Jim’s Field, Alton.
## **Summary of Activities During the Year**
This year was focussed on planning and managing Jim’s Field and engaging volunteers to carry out the required work.
The year’s activity included:
1. The concept of Friends of Alton Community Land was established for those supporters of the Charity who had donated money or their time and skills. There are fifteen Friends in addition to Trustees.
2. A website for Alton Community Land was established: https://altoncommunityland.wordpress.com/
3.The rebuilding of stone boundary walls under the leadership of a skilled dry stone waller continued and by the end of the financial year around three quarters of the walls that needed rebuilding had been completed.
4. In June the first mown path was cut to enable members of the public to walk around the site.
5. The final debris from the pheasant caging to the East of the site was removed.
6. Wildflower planting was commenced in a number of plots.
