Arrangements to open a bank account with Cooperative Bank were secured but the implementation was delayed by Covid restrictions until June 2021.
## **The Objects of the Charity**
To promote for the benefit of the public the conservation protection and improvement of the physical and natural environment of, in particular but not exclusively, Jim’s Field, Alton.
## **Summary of Activities During the Year**
This year was focussed on planning and managing Jim’s Field and engaging volunteers to carry out the required work. Re-registering the field to Alton Community Land with the Land Registry was completed.
The year’s activity included:
1. A senior officer from Natural England responsible for advising on preserving wildlife and its interaction with farming visited Jim’s Field on 20[th] April. Drawing on this advice plans were developed and Implemented across the site with considerable input of volunteers from surrounding communities.
2. There was continued improvement of the site including dismantling and removing the pheasant caging to the East of the site. The debris removed from the site by skip.
3.The rebuilding of stone boundary walls under the leadership of a skilled dry stone waller. A public pedestrian entrance was created
4. A bench was provided for public use financed by Derbyshire County Council.
