Lions Clubs International Congleton Lions Club (CIO) Trustees Report to the Charity Commissioners for the year ending 30th June 2025 Congleton Lions Club (CIO) registered number 1181543 Registered address % 27 Havannah Lane, Congleton. Cheshire CW12 2EA This report covers the operating period from 1 st July 2024 to 30th June 2025. The accounts cover the period as detailed above, they have been independently examined. They are a simple statement of funds for Congleton Lions Club CIO in readiness for providing charitable service. We hold funds that are restricted and the amounts are listed in the accounts. The club still sets aside certain amounts of money to cover on going costs such as hire of the room for the diabetic group meetings and maintenance of defibrillators. We also retain money which was donated to us and is to specifically be used for the benefft of people of Congleton. Our funds are collected from the public or as donations. Other funds are provided by the members of the Congleton Lions Club, who pay for all the administration costs of the club, including fees/dues paid to supervisory levels within the Lions organisation. No members are paid by the Charity. Unfortunately a trustee passed away and a replacement trustee was appointed in June 2025. The other existing three trUStS were re-elected at the club AGM. They are listed on the Charty Commission records. The charity aims continue to be of assistance to mainly local deserving causes, considered in all aspects in the area. The charity will also consider grants via International and National causes. There have been no incidents during this period. Signed: David Worris Trustee and Secretaryrrreasurer Date:
