I report to the trustees on my 8xaTnination of the accounts of the above

Responsibilities and
basis of report
As the charity's trustees, you are responsible for the preparation of the ac-
counts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 {°the
Act°}
I report in respect of my examination of the Trust's accounts carried out un-
der section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carying out my examination, I have
followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission un-
der section 145(5)(b) of the Act.

This report covers the operating period from 1 st July 2021 to 30th June 2022.
The accounts covw the persod as d8tai18d abov8. There is also a lisl of other oxpens8s.
They have been independently examined.
They are a simple statement of funds of Congleton Lions Club CIO in readiness for
providing charitable setvice.
We hold funds Ihat are restricted and the amounts are list8d in the accounts. Thè club still
sets aside certain amounts of money to cover on going costs such as hire of the room for
the diabetic group meeting our 5 year commitment for the Chflstmas Lunch at the Old Saw
Mill, {we have now completed 4 years}. Maintenanc& of Defibrillators. We also retain money
which was donat8d to us and is to be used for the benefft of people of Congleton.
Following the pandamic, we still experienced restricted opportunities to rais8 gen8ral funds.
Our funds are as collected from the public or as donations. and other funds are provided by
the members of the Lions Club, who pay for all the administration costs of the club.
iricluding f*sldues paid to supwisory levels within the Lions organisation. No members
are paid by the Charity.
The Charity has four trustees, all members of Congleton Lions Club. and remain unchanged
for the peri(xl and were re-elect￿ in March 2022. and are list8d on the Charity Commission
rec(xds.
The charty aims to be of assistance to mainly local d8servtng causes, considered in all
aspects in the area. The charity will also consid8r grants via International and National
causes.
There have been no incidents during this pwicyj.
