coun18 in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Ad 2011 I'the
Acr).
I report in respect of my examinalion of the Trust's accounts ￿rried out un-
der section 145 of thé 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have
followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commisslon un-
der Sec￿On 14515)Ib) of the Act.

of the Charities Act., or

ceming the form and content of accounts set out in Ihe Charilies {Ac-
counts and Reports) Regulations 2008 other than any requirement
that the accounts give a 'true and fair, view which is not a matter ¢on-
sidered as part of an independent examination.
I have no concems and have come across no other matters in connec-
tion with the examination to which attention should be drawn in this report
in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.

Thè accounts that cover the period as detailed above havé been independently examinèd.
They are a simple statement of funds raised and grants that we have made. There is also a
list of other expenses .
It goes without saying thls y8ar has been one of the most difficult in all the years the club
has been opérating. No money has been coll8cted from the g8neral public during th8 yèar
but our income has beén derlv&J from donations from a legacy and donations from
companies. Other funds wèr8 provided by the members of Iho Lions Club, who pay for all
thè administration costs ol the club, including feesldues paid to 8upervi80ry levèls within
the knons organisation. No members affj paid by the Charity.
The club stlll sets aslde certaln amounts of money to cover on going costs such as hlro of
thè room for the diabetic group ffleeting and th8 5 year commltmenl for the Chrlstma5
Lunch at the Old Saw Mill, we have now complated 3 years. We also retain money which
was donat&d to us and Is to be used for the benèfit of people of Congleton.
The charity¥ four truste8s, all members of Congleton Llons Club hav8 remain unchangéd
for the period and were all re-elected In March 2021 and they are all listed in the Charity
cornmission records. The Charity Commisslon records are correct and ￿maIn unchanged.
Despite the pandemlc the club remains to be of assistance to mainly Iccal deserving causes
covering a number of aspects in the area.
There hav8 been no incidents during this period
