The prevention or relief of poverty among the homeless and those facing financial hardship in the Ashford area of Kent, by the provision of food, clothing, bedding, information and advice.

The charity has the use of donated space and time in a local church one day a week, and a local cafe on another, to provide hot drinks and food to those in need. We are able to provide clothing and various domestic requirements as the need arises, and to support people to voice their needs and to access financial and housing aid from the relevant government and local council agencies. The trustees are cognisant with and mindful of the guidance issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit.

**Summary of the main** The charity has been able to continue  support for those who were **achievements of the charity** previously homeless and re-homed by Ashford Borough Council during **during the year** the COVID pandemic. The charity has been able to pass on regular donations of food to those in financial hardship, via the Neighbourly scheme, FareShare, Aldi Supermarket, and Pret a Manger. We have supported those with health needs to access doctor, dentist and hospital appointments, and others through court appearances, and assisting access to outside agencies such as social services, rehabilitation services, banks and Citizens Advice.
