2022/23 Financial Report

The report, in the form of a record of all incomings and outgoings during the financial year ending on 15[th] January 2023, and a profit and loss statement, was presented by RR.

Appointment of auditor

It was agreed that David Nunn would be asked to continue in this post. ACTION: RR

Election of officers

Roger Rogowski was elected as Chair and also agreed to retain the roles of secretary and treasurer on a temporary basis.

Motions put to the AGM

After discussion, it was agreed unanimously that, as revenue was still negligible, no donation would be made to the Brasted PCC at this time.

After discussion about our ongoing overheads, it was agreed that the fees for maintaining our software licence for our website together with the domain fees were difficult to justify in terms of the perceived benefits of maintaining a website, especially taking into account that our total turnover is likely to remain relatively low. The lack of volunteer time to refresh the website content on a regular basis was another factor. It was therefore agreed unanimously that the website would be discontinued.
