## **Trustees Annual Report and Accounts 01 Sep 2020 – 31 August 2021** 

The Friends of the Lancashire County Ensembles was registered with the Charities Commission at the start of 2019. This charity takes the place of the two previous charities; Friends of the Lancashire Schools Symphony Orchestra and Friends of the Lancashire Youth Concert Band. 

Activity and meetings were again disrupted due to COVID and limited as there was still no bank account set up until the very end of this period. 

One board meeting was held on 3 March 2021 via Zoom. Further meetings were postponed until the bank account was opened. 

All trustees attended an "in person" appointment with Barclays Bank on 20 August 2021 to open an account. This will now allow us to close down the previous charities and transfer their remaining funds. Contact with the trustees of the previous two charities is maintained through existing board members. 

Additional trustees will be recruited now the charity is able to start activity. 

There are no accounts as there has been no financial activity for this period as a bank account has only just been set up.
