Summer Film Project 2021 took
place in August where 8 members of
the youth theatre were involved in
the production of a short film - both
in front of and behind camera. This
is available to view on our website.

We entered an over-18 entry into
Woking Drama Festival and were
nominated in several categories
including Best Actor, Best Lighting

We produced a showcase at The
Buzz - Woking’s Studio Theatre
where member parents and carers
watched pieces prepared by the
members.

Early part of 2021 was taken up with
rehearsals for our Easter show,
Bugsy Malone performed in the next

We continue to see growth in our members.
Covid 19 had a massive impact on the
social lives and development of the young
people in our society, leaving them feeling
isolated and especially vulnerable to the
toxicity of social media.
Return to face-to-face meetings has had a
massively positive impact. We see
confidence growing on a week-by-week
basis and stress levels gradually receding.
Some of the feedback we have received
from parents / carers:

_isn't much that gets her up and out for 9am_
_without complaining Really looking forward_
_to seeing the finished film!_
_This wonderful local youth charity have_
_played a big part in getting X ready to_
_audition and then start a musical theatre_

_school really has helped him develop as a_

_for X he really enjoys doing this._
