This<br>is available to view on our website.<br>2.<br>We entered an over-18 entry into<br>Woking Drama Festival and were<br>nominated in several categories<br>including Best Actor, Best Lighting<br>3.<br>We produced a showcase at The<br>Buzz - Woking’s Studio Theatre<br>where member parents and carers<br>watched pieces prepared by the<br>members.<br>4.<br>Early part of 2021 was taken up with<br>rehearsals for our Easter show,<br>Bugsy Malone performed in the next<br>financial year.|

||SORP reference<br>Summary of the main<br>achievements of the charity,<br>identifying the difference the<br>charity’s work has made to<br>the circumstances of its<br>beneficiaries and any wider<br>benefits to society as a<br>whole.<br>Para 1.20<br>We continue to see growth in our members.<br>Covid 19 had a massive impact on the<br>social lives and development of the young<br>people in our society, leaving them feeling<br>isolated and especially vulnerable to the<br>toxicity of social media.<br>Return to face-to-face meetings has had a<br>massively positive impact. We see<br>confidence growing on a week-by-week<br>basis and stress levels gradually receding.<br>Some of the feedback we have received<br>from parents / carers:<br>_Thank you for a great week - X had fun and_<br>_learnt such a lot at the same time. There_<br>_isn't much that gets her up and out for 9am_<br>_without complaining  Really looking forward_<br>_to seeing the finished film!_<br>_This wonderful local youth charity have_<br>_played a big part in getting X ready to_<br>_audition and then start a musical theatre_<br>_degree at a specialist conservatoire. Being_<br>_able to be part of something away from_<br>_school really has helped him develop as a_<br>_performer._<br>_Thank you for all your hard work and_<br>_dedication, I’m so glad I found your group_<br>_for X he really enjoys doing this._<br>_Just wanted to say a big thank you so much_<br>_for X’s introduction into WYT. He was very_<br>_nervous but we couldn’t be any prouder of_<br>_him._<br>_X credits her successful exam grade almost_<br>_entirely to Woking Youth Theatre._<br>_Wow!
