## **Structure, Governance and Management** 

Warming Hope is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO), registered with the Charity Commission on the 8[th] of January 2019. It is governed by its constitution. 

The Board of Trustees is responsible for the overall control and strategic direction of the charity. Trustees meet periodically to discuss, plan, and review the charity’s activities and development. All trustees serve on a voluntary basis and receive no remuneration or expenses. 



## **Objectives and Activities** 

## **Charitable Objectives** 

Warming Hope exists to relieve poverty and support those facing financial hardship in London, particularly the homeless and families with children. 

## **Main Aims** 

- Distribute clothing and food to those in need 

- Organise community events that offer educational entertainment 

- Raise awareness and support through our community project **"Hope"** 

- Work toward establishing rehabilitation houses, foodbanks, and youth clubs throughout London 

## **Public Benefit** 

The trustees confirm that they have complied with the duty in section 17 of the Charities Act 2011 to have due regard to the Charity Commission’s guidance on public benefit. 

## **Achievements and Performance** 

During the accounting period, the charity continued to plan and prepare for future community projects and outreach activities. However, **no donations were received and no charitable expenditure was made** between 15 August 2022 and 14 August 2023. 

Key planning outcomes included: 

- Continued community engagement and networking with local partners 

- Strategic review of plans for future fundraising and event delivery 

- Exploration of potential venues and volunteer recruitment methods

## **Reserves Policy** 

As there was no financial activity, no reserves were held at the end of the reporting period. The trustees intend to establish a reserves policy once fundraising activity begins. 

## **Plans for the Future** 

The charity intends to: 

- Begin active fundraising during the next financial year 

- Launch the first **“Hope” community event** 

- Distribute clothes and food parcels in partnership with local organisations 

- Explore opportunities to establish a pilot youth club or food distribution point 

- Apply for small grants to support operations
