HYNDBURN CENTENNIAL LIONS CLUB (CIO) ACCOUNTS FOR THE YEAR ENDING 30TH JUNE 2022

1. Hyndburn Centennial Lions Club.

1.1 Legal Status

The Club is governed by its constitution and is under the jurisdiction of The International Association of Lions Clubs, Oak Brook, Illinois, USA.

The Charity Incorporated Organisation was registered on the 8[th ] January 2019 under registration number 1181475.. The Trustees may invest any monies required to be invested in or upon the security of such stocks, funds, shares, securities or other investments for the time being authorised by law for the investment of trust monies with power to the trustees to vary such investments for others of a like nature.

1.2 Charity Trust Fund

The prime function of the Charity Trust Fund has been to receive donations raised by the club and to distribute the income to various beneficiaries.

Details of receipts, from contributions, fees and other sources, and payments are given in the relevant accounts that accompanies this report.

1.3 Administration/General Account

The prime function of the Administration Account is to collect member's dues and forward them to the respective recipients, they being Lions Clubs International, Lions Clubs International MD105 and Lions Clubs International District 105CN.

Details of receipts, from contributions, fees and other sources, and payments are given in the relevant accounts that accompanies this report.

It is emphasised that this account is not supported by any funds raised from the public, all income raised by Lions Clubs by public contribution is, subject only to the costs of organising and administrating the event, used for charity work and charitable causes.

2.1 Accounting Policies

The accounts have been prepared in accordance with the Statement of Recommended Practice (SORP) Accounting by Charities, 2005.
