Activities
The Providence House Trust is a merger of 2 previous trusts (PHT est 1963 & PHYC est 1969). Based in north Battersea, we continue to be passionate about improving the lives and outcomes for young people. We aim to provide social, recreational, sporting and educational activities in a weekly programme and during school holidays for young people aged 5-25 years.
Objects: The Objects Of The CIO Are, For The Public Benefit, As Follows:to Advance The Christian Faith In Accordance With The Statement Of Faith In Such Parts Of London, The United Kingdom Or The World As The Trustees May From Time To Time Think Fit And To Fulfil Such Other Purposes Which Are Exclusively Charitable According To The Law Of England And Wales And Are Connected With The Charitable Work Of The Charity; Andin Accordance With Christian Principles To:act As A Resource For Young People Living In London By Providing Advice And Assistance And Organising Programmes Of Physical, Educational, Spiritual And Other Activities As A Means Of Advancing In Life And Helping Young People By Developing Their Skills, Capacities And Capabilities To Enable Them To Participate In Society As Independent, Mature And Responsible Individuals And Advancing Education; Andprovide Or Assist In The Provision Of Facilities And Activities In The Interests Of Social Welfare For Recreation Or Other Leisure Time Occupation Of Individuals Who Have Need Of Such Facilities By Reason Of Their Youth, Age, Infirmity Or Disability, Financial Hardship Or Social Circumstances With The Object Of Improving Their Conditions Of Life And Wellbeing.
