Section D Achievements and performance
Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year
BASE Chairs Report 21[st] October 2021:
The COVID19 pandemic has continued to dramatically reduce hiring of kit. However, whilst BASE has had a greatly reduced income the Charity overheads have been very low and thankfully BASE is not in any financial difficulties.
In August BASE were asked to vacate their original premises at Laisterdyke, all the equipment has now been relocated to new premises at Peel Park, Bradford.
The number of volunteers, the key to the success of the charity, remains stable.
The Chair would like to thank all of the Trustees and volunteers for their time and commitment, reiterating the need to keep working together to ensure BASE provides a reliable and quality service but at the same time make being involved at BASE an enjoyable activity.
