HOLBROOK ANIMAL RESCUE HORSHAM REGISTERED CHARITY NUMBER: 1181456 Report of the Trnstees for the year ended 31 December 2021 Objectives and activities: The objectives for which the charity was established are: For the benefit of the public to relieve the suffering of animals in need of care and attention by providing animal care, a rescue home, veterinary treatment including neutering and a sanctuary for anin]als that have been abandoned, mistreated or lost. To provide rehabilitation to animals that have experienced trauma and/or behaviour issues and ensure that they can live the best life possible To find safe, loving pern]anent homes for rescued animals, which meet their individual needs Achievement and perforniance The charity continues to perfonn and promote the core values which were established by Laura and Cliff Santini. The knock on effect of COVID and people returning to work has had a huge impact on the public wishing to re-home their dogs. We have re-homed around 70 dogs from both the UK and Europe. We have also helped re-home cats, rabbits, hamsters, ducks and chickens. When possible we help with other rescues too! Our vet fees have increased mainly due to the public surrendering their unneutered and unvaccinated dogs and Holbr(K)k then having to get them done! We have 14 Sanctuary animals whRch will live out their lives at Holbrook! During 2022 we have continued to welcome local coOrate companies to the rescue with groups of employees helping complete projects as required!

Fundraising continues to be a challenge but we have a three new, enthusiastic fundraisers join the team, that are investigating new ways of fundraising. We have a broad range of ways in which the public can donate including through the website, PayPal, Just giving and via our social media platforms. The Thistee's thanks, go to the 70 plus dedicated volunteers, without whom we would not be able to operate. They give their time regardless of the weather and are always willing to provide additional support as required. Financial Review Financial Position At the end of the financial year our income was £50633 and our spending £29916. We will be facing serious challenges in the next few years as the land has been sold for housing development. The land is leased by Laura and Cliff Santini and does not belong to the charity. If we Ca[0t raise enough funds to buy a new home. then the rescue may not be able to continue. Our aim is to build a new facility which will also have amenities for community groups to visit and learn about animal husbandry and dog safety and caie. Structure, Governance and Management The charity is nul by the trustee board and trustee meetings are held on a regular basis. Any changes to the current procedures are agreed and documented.
