TRUSTEES REPORT 2023-2024 – BURNLEY LIONS CLUB (CIO) 

Trustees remained the same this year. 

16 Easter eggs were distributed to raise funds and the 10K race was organised for the last time. Lions assisted at a tree planting session on 4[th] February. 2,876 pairs of spectacles were packed for recycling through the Lions’ scheme for reuse in third world countries. Some families in need were supported with vouchers or food parcels; 192 ‘Message in a bottle’ containers were handed our to mainly elderly people; and the Burnley Macular Society support group continued supporting those suffering from macular degeneration.
