TRUSTEES REPORT 2021-2022 – BURNLEY LIONS CLUB (CIO) 

With sadness, we lost the services of Michael Handforth, who retired to enjoy his old age sedately. 

Easter egg receipts went well, 14 being distributed and the annual 10K race was resumed, but on a different course. One session of tree planting was undertaken in conjunction with Burnley borough Council, approximately 400 being planted on 28[th] November; 444 pairs of used spectacles were recycled; 55 ‘Message in a bottle’ containers were handed out to elderly people; and the local Macular Society support group monthly meetings or outings were organised and supported by members.
