I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above charity (“the Charity”) for the year ended 31 July 2023. 

**Responsibilities and** As the Charity's trustees, you are responsible for the preparation of the **basis of report** accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (“the Act”). 

I report in respect of my examination of the Charity’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act. 

**Independent** I have completed my examination.  I confirm that no material matters have **examiner's statement** come to my attention in connection with the examination which gives me cause to believe that in, any material respect: 

- the accounting records were not kept in accordance with section 130 of the Charities Act; or 

- the accounts did not accord with the accounting records; or 

- the accounts did not comply with the applicable requirements concerning the form and content of accounts set out in the Charities (Accounts and Reports) Regulations 2008 other than any requirement that the accounts give a ‘true and fair’ view which is not a matter considered as part of an independent examination.

Basls of accountlng
The fin8ncial statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention and in accordance with
UK Generally Accepted Accountin8 Practice, the Companies Act 2006 and "The Financial Reportin8 Standard
applitable in the UK and Republic of Ireland" l FRS 102 1 and 'Accounting and Reporting by Charities.. the
Staternent of Recommended Practice for charities applying FRS102 1"SORP"l. The charity is a Public
Benefit Entity as defined by FRS 102.
The financial staternent5 are prepared in sterling, which is the functional currency of the company.
Monetary amounts in these financial statements are rounded to the nearest £.
The financial statements have been prepared on the historical cost convention. The principal accounting
policies adopted are set out below.
Goin8 concern
The financial statements h3ve been prepared on 3 going concern basis. When considering the
appropriatenes5 of the going concern basis the tru5tee5 have given consideration to projected finanical
performance and position for a period of twelve months from the date of signature of these financial
statements.
Cash flow statement
The fin3ncial statements do not include a cash flow statement bec3use the charity, as 8 small reporting
entity, is exernpt from the requirernent to prepare such a staternent under FRS 102.
Intome
Income is recognised in the period in which the charity is entitled to receipt the amount can be measured
with reasonable certainty. Income is deferred only when the charity has to fulfil conditions before
becoming entitled to it or where the donor or funder ha5 specified that the income 15 to be expended in
future accounting period.
Income represents donations. grants, fees for services rendered and interest receivable. Grants subject to
specific condition5 are credited to relevant restricted funds.
Expenditure
Expenditure is included in the statement of financial artivities when incurred and includes 3ttribut3ble VAT
which cannot be recovered.
Charitable expenditure comprises both direct and indirect overhead expenditure on the charity's primary
charitable purposes.
Fund accounting
Unrestricted fund5 represent those monies which may be used toward5 meeting the charitable objectives of
the charitable cotnpany at the discretion tsf the trustees. The restricted funds are rnonies raised for, and
their use restricted to, a specific purpose, or grants subject to donor imposed conditions.
