Introduction
Since renaming on 18 January 2024 , Gloucestershire Puja and Cultural Association (GPCA) continued its charity objectives to reposition the charity within the Gloucestershire region, broaden its cultural and community engagement . The number of GPCA-led events and other events supported by GPCA had been expanded.

These trustees contributed to the charity’s strategic transformation and expansion of activities during the reporting year.
Objectives and Activities
The charity outlined a renewed programme of Hindu religious and cultural events for the year, aiming to revitalise community participation and promote its core values.

Achievements and Performance
Compared to the previous reporting period, attendance of community members increased significantly along with the number of events hosted and supported by GPCA. For example, Holi was attended by multi-faith and multi-cultural communities. Additionally GPCA planned to organise Diwali and revamp the website to improve external communication.

Financial Review
During the reporting year, Receipts & Payments accounts were prepared separately using Form CC16a , in line with Charity Commission guidelines for small CIOs.
Summary:
Income & Expenditure Overview
- Total Income: £13,587
(from donations, membership contribution, grant, sponsorships and bank interest)
- Total Expenditure: £11, 336
(religious and cultural event costs, venue cost, food, transport, insurance and website hosting)
- Closing Cash Balance: £6,135
As of the reporting date, GPCA held total cash funds of £6,135 , along with a ceremonial asset (idol – at cost) valued at depreciated value £1,000 .
The charity operated solely with unrestricted funds, and there is no formal reserves policy currently in place. There were no restricted or endowment funds, liabilities, investments, or other monetary assets.
The trustees confirm exemption from audit under Section 477 of the Companies Act 2006 and acknowledge responsibility for compliance with applicable accounting and reporting standards.
