Achievements and Performance
Support Nepal UK began as the dream of Navin Gurung, to
improve the lives of people living in the village of his
ancestors, Dandaswara. The aims are to complete the
construction of a Welfare Centre, to support the residents of
Dandaswara and the broader Kolma Bahakot area, and
support the maintenance of the building. Volunteer medical
and allied healthcare professionals and gap year students
will stay in the building while they work and gain valuable
experience and explore Nepal. We seek to provide support
in health, sports facilities and better education.
During our fourth year of activty, we were able to contribute
£6,500 towards the construction (comparable to the £6,000
in 2021122). The building, and kitting out, is now complete.
An opening ceremony took place in November 2022 with
our Patron, Arun Choudhary, and 3 of the Trustees
attending.
The building is now ready to welcome visiting medics, and
groups.

achievements of the charity,

Gharity's work has made to

beneficiaries and any wider
benefits to society as a
whole.
