**Objects:** THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE THE PRESERVATION REPAIR MAINTENANCE IMPROVEMENT UPKEEP BEAUTIFICATION AND RECONSTRUCTION OF HISTORIC CHURCHES IN HAMPSHIRE (INCLUDING THE CITIES OF SOUTHAMPTON AND PORTSMOUTH) THE ISLE OF WIGHT AND THE CHANNEL ISLANDS AND OF MONUMENTS FITTINGS FIXTURES STAINED GLASS FURNITURE ORNAMENTS GOODS AND CHATTELS IN SUCH CHURCHES AND OF THE CHURCHYARD BELONGING TO ANY OF SUCH CHURCHES FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC.

**Activities:** Raising funds and giving grants towards the preservation, repair, maintenance, improvement, upkeep, beautification and reconstruction of historic churches in Hampshire (including the cities of Southampton and Portsmouth), the Isle of Wight and the Channel Islands, and of monuments etc in such churches and of the churchyard belonging to such churches, for public benefit.
