Focus Group
This Group co-exists with the PCC to address the wlhole area of mission and ministry. By this it is made up of lay and
ordained members io help guide our mt%8iOtL and ministy. It is planned io develop this in the coming 12 months.

The Group has coniinued to meet to refleth on the impoct of the steWardth￿ Campaign ID Septrmb¢r 2023. They have
reflected on the impact of the caTDpaign with due care to wish incotne and expenditure. It is planned io monitor this
once again in the ¢orDing year aod to Put ID place literature asking for the ¢ongre8ation to look again at their
commitment financially. Siewardship also embrac￿ the enonnous amount of voluntary WOTk for the benefit of the

We have continued to redch oul to our younger families with our serviee'saturdaycth. 4, on the Saturday of each

Churches Together in Standish, eS￿CIallY the'¢an collection. at Christmas for th¢ Brick ProjecL events around Advent
and Iknt.
- A substantial project for the PCC. and tbe whole Church Community. was the WO￿ through the launch of the Save
Standish Spire Appeal. Through the considcrdble work of the committee. made up of PCC members and member8 of
the wider community, the Group ha5 w9￿d tirelwly thmllghout this last year enabling many events to take place. In
response io various fornis of literature the wider community I￿ been Yery generous in their Mponse and support of the
Ap￿1. The work of the committee will Continue iDlo 2025. During the yeaT we were successful with our bid to the
NLHF and the consulrant appointed ooniinues to work with us to ovetsee the outwmes of thai Gr¥nL

The charity holds 20255.454 units in'charifimd aryd ai 31 D¢¢ember 2024 the investmeDi has be¢n revalued
upwards to £298,241 (2023- £290,859). The 5vbsequent gain of £7577 (2023 - £6.994 loss) has been reflected
in the SOFA.
The ¢haTity also holds investments with Central Board of FiDan¢e (of C of E) Iniesttnent fill￿ for £101.95 (Miss

EMPLOYEE BENEFIT OBLIGATIONS
The cl]arity operates a defID￿ CODthi)ution pension scheme. The of the scheme are held separately from
those of the charity in independently administered fi￿￿￿. Contributions to the scheme amounted to £470 (2023 -
£4371 and at the year end there were £97 (2023 - £971 of utyid c0ntnl￿t1Ons.
