As Chairman of The Hill 112 Memorial Foundation, l am proud to write this report outlining our charity fund raising during thi5 year 2021-22. Throughout the year we have attended many 1940's shows promoting our aims and ambitions for the charity and the Garden of Remembrance in Normandy. We have continued to sell Albert FIg￿S book via shows, our website, and other promotional opportunities. We have also received several donations, from supporters of The Hill 112. In September we held our first show We Will Meet Again a 1940's show with military vehicles, living history displays, Anderson Shelters. Vintage cars and even a Spitfire, Hurricane and Huey Helicopter, plus various stalls. The weekend was also full of entertainment, music, dance display and D.J. We were also able to promote Hill 112 and the hopes and aims for the charity. In October, our Patron HRH Prince Edward Earl of Wessex hosted a Luncheon for the charity in the Cabinet War Rooms which was attended by 66 guests. We were honoured that His Royal Highness graciously took time to chat to each table and as many individual people as possible. We held a raffle with marvellous prizes, champagne etc and even a Spitfire Propeller made by Michael Whiteley and a week's holiday in a villa in the South of France donated by a supporter of Hill 112, whose father had served on the Hill during 1944. Both events were a great succes5 and helped us to pay a lump sum to pwrv towards the cost of making the documentary. Peter Williams match funded several payments which has made a huge difference to the outstanding balance of the documentary.
