The Foundation was incorporated on 21 December 2018 as a CIO in orderto continue to carry on the charitable activities previousty undertaken by the North Midlands Rugby Football Union Seven-a-side Trust Fund. RegiSted Charity number 236425, which Tnerged with the CIO on 5 June 2019 and has since been closed. Both of the charities have been supported by donations from North Midlands Rugby Football Union Limited and aim to provide financial as5i*ance to North Midlands Rugby F¢)otball Union Limited dub player5 injured in the course of participation in the sport of rugby union. Governance The CIO is governed by Trustees in accordan with the written Constitution. and subject to the Charities Act 2011 and the Charitable Incorporated Organisations (Generall Regulations 2012 and related Statutory instruments. For legal purposes the Trustees for the time being constitute the only"Members" of the CIO. Trustees The Trustees. who arted during the year were: R J Parsons C E Hemmings K Skirving The above initial TSteeS are appointed for periods of four, three and two years respectively. Thereafter Trustees are appointed for three year terms. with a limit of three consecutive tems without a break of at least one year. C E Hemmings retired on 20 December 2021 but wa5 unanimousty reappointed for a the year term. R J Parsons retld on 20 December 2022 but was unanimously reappointed for a three year term. K Skirvirbg retired on 20 December 2023. but was unanimously reappointed for a three year term. Additional Trustees may be appointed by those in office. up to a maximum of seven Trustees with a minimum of three. Trustees must be over 16 years old and at least one must be over 18 at all times.
