Activities
Responders provide immediate care to patients in their local areas where the prompt arrival of an ambulance may be delayed due to a number of factors. They are trained to deliver care in a range of emergency situations, including Basic Life Support, defibrillation in Cardiac Arrest situations, and oxygen administration in a range of conditions. Such emergency situations can occur at any time.
Objects: A) The Preservation And Protection Of Life And Good Health By The Provision Of Immediate Medical Care To Any Person Involved In Any Medical Emergency Or Injured In Any Accident In The Area Of Warwickshire And West Midlands And The Surrounding Area As Directed By The West Midlands Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust Until The Arrival Of An Ambulance Or First Response Vehicle.b) To Advance The Education Of The Public In Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation ("Cpr") And/or First Aid By The Provision Of Training And Familiarisation In Cpr, Basic Life Support And/or The Principles And Practice Of First Aid In North Warwickshire And The Surrounding Area.
