for Music at Duffield and produced a version for us. This makes on line ticket purchases easier and also ch8ap&r as il
avoids the need lo pay a fee as is required through Ihe WeGolTickets route. Len did tha sam& with the on line mailing
system used by Music at Duffield which makes our ¢xrfr8spondenc* easier lo manage. Aso thanks to L&n we can now.

The Seasc￿ Saw a rather sad evont for the Scrfiety. the passllig of Jon Tumor11936 -20251. It was Jon vtho had the

February's concert was another innovati)n In that it was a Y￿n9 arti8ts conc6rt and inlroduc•J u8 to Iwo young talent8.
The fir81 h81f of the concert featured the local v•Jlinisl. Georg6 8oy88. Hè was accompanied. at short notic8. by Benjamin

We have Wel￿)Med new people onto t￿ Committee during ￿ year. They are Yoon Iron8 and Farid Moh8en. They
are both linkèd to the University where Y¢)on is Asswate Profèssor of for Health and Wellbging with a partlcular
inlèresl in music. We welc￿8 their inter881 #nd willingnèss lo supp)rt the Soci8ty.
For some time Kathryn Hay And I hAv8 beén wanting to Stèp down the committee. Kathryn h88 beon ¢ommlttae
Secretary for some time aTKI since thg relirgment of Jenny Ell￿tt has hosted tha perforners on concert day$ providing
for their refreshment needs and managed inl8rv81 refreshments. She has al80 submitted concert delails to the locally
di81ribuled magazines lor publication and worked with Katherine Boye¥ on putting togethèr gr8nl fvnding applications.
Sh6 will be missed but deserve$ her well eamed rest. For my part I ￿•pe Andrew Johnson will take ovar as ch8irm8n. I
will give him all the Support I can and will continue to 888emble the progrommes from the notes provided by Mike
Wheèler, but I feel Ihat I no longer have Ihe energy to provvje the leadership the Society neèds.
7. Conclusions
On behalf of the Society I wish to put on record ow tt￿nkS to tl¥)8e wtK) have help8d in running th8 Society this19st
Season. Several people have helped vth ¥aTiOUS tasks on the day of (x)ncerts widuding helping in the kitchen during
the interval. Ashley and Austin Srntth have helped with setting out of chairs.
Once ag8in we have enjoyed thg benefft of the excellent programme notes and o)ncert roview8 prov*Jèd by Mike
Wheeler. We, audience. find these very infomiab.ve even with work8with whith we are familiar bul it Is not unts)mmon
for the performers lo ccxnment positivety on their quality.
Finally I wish to Ihonk the Committee lor 011 the work they have done in supwting this sèason and the s￿ety in
