Munchkins al Ysgol Llanbedr is to provide quality,, acc885ible full day (ère and out of sd)ool childcatE, offering a
lange of play activit$8s in a welcoming atmosphere.
The truslees have paid due regard lo guidance Issued by Ihe Charity Commission in deciding what *ivitl85 the

Munchklns is the on-site wr8p around care prowsiot) for Ysgol Llanbedr. 11 caters for childfyn 8geil 2 years and
upwards. It has tho use of ils own building and has a￿sS to School laalilies, Including school meals and to
eX￿lIent outdoor facilities and school ￿$ourC&S. The children who atterKI also lake p8rt in school acb"v1ts"￿. ovents
and ¢816brntions which eases their transilion Into sch)ol at nursery agè.

It benefits families in the Brea and str8nglhens community Ilnks In a rural area by prowding care fac￿1}tIeS enabllng

MunGhknn5 8t Ysgol Llanbedr was fomed in Dec£mber 2018 to offer quality. acc4s5ible pre4chool. after-school and
holiday childcare and continues to provlda th6se facilities.
During the sprfng of 2024 Munchkins began 10 worf( with Denb5ghshire County Counul Earty Education lo prepare
to provide Early Education funded places to ehlldren who lumed lh￿e In time to access 12.5 hours of funded
eduCa￿Dn in th8 Summer term of 2024.
This would allow Ihem io acc8ss Earfy Education grants in order to Improve the lèaming environment and lo
become more Sustainab￿ and access mandatory training through the local authority.
Munchkins is prtrparing ¢0 work ¥￿th the local authority supported stsff to provide an enhan￿d learnlng 8nwronment
for the children in their care to access a ranqe of quality re50urcEs.
At Ihe end of March 2024 staff were fully prepared to enhan￿ the provision ol the fjhildren across the setknng and
had built good working relationships Local Authority Earfy Educat￿￿ to continue this beyond the end ¢f Ihe year
this report covets.

ready tojoin the Denbighshire County Council Earty Education scheme to enhan￿ Ihe prowslon for all children.
