The charity aims ar8 to promote greater understanding of the causes, symptoms and treatment of
Hypophosphatasia (HPPI., lo raise public awareness of the symptoms, needs and related medical
conditions of those living with HPP and lo assist people, their relaliv8s and carers to get in contact with
each other and to exchange infomation and experiences.

ril 2023- March 2024
Meryl Chamb8rs, Chair, attended the OIFE Topical Meeting 2023.. Balancing Life wilh Ol.. Pain and its
impact in Stockholm in June 2023. This included discussions on pain in 01 and other rare bone
conditions, commonalities and differences and how we can work together. Meryl Chambers presented al
the conference to inform the audience of Hypophosphatasia, the symptoms and HPP testirnonials. M8ry1
Chambers also took part in a panel debate on pain across rar8 bon8 disease groups as a representative
from th8 HPP community.
