**Objects:** TO PROMOTE, ENCOURAGE AND IMPROVE SCIENTIFIC AND PRACTICAL HORTICULTURE AND FLORICULTURE FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC GENERALLY AND IN PARTICULAR THOSE WHO LIVE IN OR VISIT THE VILLAGE OF REDBOURN BY THE PROVISION OF FLORAL DISPLAYS, SHRUBS AND LANDSCAPES IN PLACES VISIBLE TO THE PUBLIC, THE PROVISION OF AN ANNUAL SHOW FOR THE EXHIBITION OF FLOWERS, FRUIT AND VEGETABLES AND BY SUCH OTHER MEANS AS THE GENERAL COMMITTEE MAY FROM TIME TO TIME THINK FIT.

**Activities:** - Hold regular horticultural lectures, discussions and demonstrations- Hold horticultural shows, competitions and other events- Arrange visits to gardens and other sites to observe and learn from gardening in practice- Participate in Anglia in Bloom - Organise groups of volunteers to improve the look of Redbourn by selected plantings and by clearing weeds and overgrown sites
