The purpose of the charity as set out in its governing docijment is the relief of those in need, by
reason of youth, age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage in Walsall, in
particular by providing items and Services to individuals iii iieed.

The charity achieved its objectives in the year by asslsting in 5UPPOrting the local health sector in
preventing delayed discharges. This was done through a variety of way: providing cleans to make the
home safe and manageable for discharge, also reorganising furniture in their residences to make the
home more ècces5ible and to make room for mobility equipment, We are very proud of the number
of delayed discharges we have prevented by providing our services within a very quick turnaround
period. This work will alway5 be on going as the NHS face5 issue5 on a day to day our service is there
to fill in the gaps for any support we can offer to families and individuals.
ACHIEVEMENTS AND PERFORMANCE
The charity Was scheduled to achieve its objectives in the year by assisting in supporting the local
health sector in preventing delayed discharges. This was done through a variety of ways.. providing
deep cleans to make the home safe and manageable for discharge, also reorganising furniture in
their residences to make the home more accessible and to make room for mobility equipment. We
are very proud of the number of delayed discharges we have prevented by providing our services
within a very quick turnaround period.
The sourcing and acquisition of specially needed PPE equipment enabled our dedicated Team to
perform their work in a safe and effective manner.

There was a 2 year contract with Local authority support them with rapid response service making
sure people are staying out hospital with falls and not blocking any beds this has been tough for us
but we have managed with an amazing team 24hour Service 7 days a week has made our incoming 4
time5 what they were supposed to be as the local council was in urgent need and as we said yes we
worked very hard and achieved this providing a 5 star run service as the NHSI local authority was so
happy
Unfortunately, the outgoing Trustets were uiiable to pi uvide ieiuids Lu ilie IiEw Trustee5
and so comprehensive verifiable achievement results could not be relied upon to support the
income figures
PLANS FOR FUTURE PERIODS
Our mission is to provide a social support network people he need support and to fill in the gaps in
the local community. We are now CQC rcs and working hard to get the paid work in 30 we Can
support the free services We will provide regular cleans and one off deep cleans with checked
reliable arid dedicated staff. The charity will also provide shopping visit5 for those unable to get out
or order online the online system 15 not for most elderly people as they are not with modern tec
We provide food parcels, not only for the homeless, sofa surfer5 but also those with low incomes.
Our Specialty provides delivered food parcels without vouchers only a referr31 15 required, the food
parcel is tailored to the individual taking into account their specific requirement5 whether it is for
health reasons, reliRious or chosen diet.
Recently we had a lot of families use thi5 service as the cost of living has impacted a lot of people
The charity also provides homeless packs, this includes hygiene packs for males and females, snack
packs and winter packs.
The charity offers befriending services, personal visits and phone calls, activities such as coffee
mornings or lunch gatherings, craft, baking, cooking.
The charity supports the local Social care sector by providing deep cleans or furnlture removal or
reorganization of the home to enable quicker and safer discharge from hospitals or resplte care. This
aids in preventing delayed hospital discharges.
To maintain 5UStainability and continLJe to provide the services currently being offered. The charity
will continue to also raise fund5 by grants and holding events, in further support of the services that
are provided.
The above report has been prepared in accordance with the provisions applicable to companies
subject to the sm311 companie5, regime as set out in Part IS of the Companies Act 2006 and in
accordance with the Charities 50RP IFRS 1021.

I report to the charity trustees on my examination of the financial statements of A&A Services West Midlands

As the charity's trustees of the company land also its directors for the purposes of company lawl you are
responsible for thp prpp2rAtinn r)f thp financial st3tèment5 in accordance with the requirements of the
Companies Act 20061'the 2006 Act.
Having satisfied myself that the financial statements of the Charity are not required to be audited under Part
16 of the 2006 Act arTrd are eligible for independent examination, I report in respect of my examination of
vour charity's linancial statements as carried out under section 145 of the Charities Act 20111'the 2011 Act'l.
In carrying out my examination I have followed the Direction5 given by the Charity Commission under section
145151 Ibl of the 2011 Act.

I have completed my examination. Due to lack of proper accounting records provided, l am unable to
confirm that any material matters have come to my attention in connection with the examination, which
otherwise would have caused me to believe.,

The financial statements have been prepared in accordance with Accounting and Reporting by Charities..
Stètement of Recommended Practice applicable to charitie5 preparing their accounts in accordance with
the Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland IFRS 1021 (effective I
January 20151 (Charities SORP IFRS 10211, the Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and
Republic of Ireland (FR5 1021 and the Companies Art 2006.

Expenditure
Recognition of
expenditure
Expenditure is recognised on an accruals basis. Expenditure includes any VAT which
cannot be fully recovered. and is reported a5 part of the expenditure to which it
relaies.

Freehold Investment property
Investment properties are measured initially at cost and subsequently at fair value at each balance Sheet
date and are not depreciated. All gains or losses are taken to the Statement of Financial Activities as thev

Stocks
Stock is included at the lower of cost or net realisable value. Donated item5 of stock are recognised at fair
value which is the amount the charity would have been willing to pay for the items on the open market.
Trade and other debtors
Trade and other debtors are recognised at the settlement amoLJnt due after any trade discount offered.
Prepayments are valued at the amount prepaid net of any trade discounts due.
Cash and cash equivalents
Cash and cash equivalents comprise c35h at bank and tsn hand. demand deposits with b3nk5 and other
short-term highly liquid investtllents with original maturities of three months or less and bank Dverdrafts.
In the statement of financial position, bank overdrafts are shown within borrowings or current liabilities.
In the Statement of Cash Fltsws, cash and cash equivalents are shown net of bank overdrafts that are
repayable on demand and form an integr31 part of the compèny'5 cash management.
Trède and other creditor5
Short term creditors are measured at the transaction price. Other creditors and provisions are recognised
where the charity has a present obligation resulting from a past event that will probably result in the
transfer of funds to a third party and the amount due to settle the obligation can be measured or
estimated reliably. Creditor5 and provisions are normally recognised at their settlement amount after
allowing for any trade discounts due.

Research and development
Expenditure on research and development 15 written off in the year in which it 15 incurred.
Foyeisn currencles
Monetary assets and liabilities denominated in currencies other than the functional currency of the
charity are translated at the rates of exchange prevailing at the end of the reporting period.
Transactions in currencies other than the functional currency of the charity are recorded at the rate of
exchange on the date that the transaction occurred.
All exchange differences are are taken into account in arriving at net income/expenditure.
Leased assets
Where the charity enters into a lease which entails taking substantially all the risks and rewards of
ownership of an a55et, the lease is treated as a finance lease.
Leases which do not transfer substantially all the risks and rewards of ownership to charity are classified
a5 operating leases,
Assets held under finance leases are initially recognised as assets of the charity at their fair value at the
inception of the lease or, if lower, at the present value of the minimum lease payments. The
corresponding liability to the lessor is Included in the balance sheet date as a finance lease obligation.
Lease payments are apportirjnprl hé5twgpn finance expenses and reduction of the lease obli82tion so as to
achieve a constant rate of interest on the remaining balance of the liability. Finance expenses are
recognised immediately, vnless they are directly attributable to qualifying assets, in which case they are
capitalised in accordance with the charity's policy on borrowing costs.

Operating lease payments are recognised as an expense on a straight-line basis over the lease term.
In the event that lease incentives are received to enter into operating leases. such incentives are

Pension costs
The charity operates a defined contribution plan for it5 ernployees. A defined contribution plan is a
pension plan under which the company pays fixed contributions irito a separate entity. Once the
contributions have been paid the company has no further payment5 obli8ations. The contributions are
recognised as expenses when they fall due. AmoLJnts not paid are shown in accruals in the balance sheet.
The assets of the plan are held separately from the company in independently administered funds.
Recelpt of donated goods, facilities and services
All donated goods, facilities and services received are recogni5ed within incoming resources and
expenditure at an estimate of the value to the charity.
