## **CIO Objectives** 

Lions Club of Ivybridge is a community organisation that donates money, supplies volunteers and supports the local community. 

This is undertaken by organising fundraising events and bucket collections and undertaking community service to provide support where needed. 

## **Governance** 

The Lions Club of Ivybridge is governed by Lions Clubs International and Lions Multiple District 105. As of 7th December 2018 the Lions Club of Ivybridge became a CHARITABLE INCORPORATED ORGANISATION (CIO). Prior to becoming a CIO the Lions Club of Ivybridge had been operating for 18 years. 

Sadly, a lack of members has resulted in the Club being forced to cease operations with effect from the end of the Lion year on 30 June 2022

The appointment of these trustees has been on a voluntary basis. 

## **Reporting Period Activities** 

During the period to 30 June 2022 the Lions Club of Ivybridge have carried out various bucket collections in the local community, undertaken talks in the community about Message in a Bottle; and supported local events. 

## **Current Financial Position** 

For the period ending 30 June 2022 the charity account showed income of £15,356.89 and payments of £15,759.75, leaving a balance in the account of zero.
