Objectives and Activlties
The objertives of the charity as per its governing d¢)cument are:
l. The objects of the club are such purposes as are e¥clu5ively charitable in En¥and & Wale5,
including in particular-
2. The advancement of cttizenship by:
l. Promoting the principles of good crtizenship.
2. Encouraging members to tske an active interest in the cNic, cultural, social and moral
welfare of the communtty.
3. Providing a forum forthe open discussion of all matters of public Interest: provided that
partisan politics and sectarlan religion shall not be debated by member.

4. Encouraging service-minded people to serve their community without personal reward and
encouraging the promotion of high ethical standards in commerce. industry. professions,
public works and private endeavours.
5. Supporting youth to develop their skills. capacities and capabilitiesto enab￿ them to
participate in society as mature and reswnsible individuals.
6. Promoting the voluntary sertor forthe wblic benefit by associating wtth local authorities
in a common effort to advance educatton and provide facilities in the interests of social
welfare for recreatk)n or other ￿lsUre time occupation to improve the conditions of life of
people in local, national and international communities.
7. Promoting volunteering.
8. The relief of poverty and the relief of those in need in particular by providing humanitarian
aid and disaster relief.
9. The advancement of health or the saving of live5 by preventing avoidable blindness,
a5SlSting disabled people to Fead independent Iples or helping to prevent or manage heafth
issues.
10. Promoting for the benefft of the publlc the conservation protection and improvement of
the physical and natural environment. and/or
11. Promoting community participation in healthy recreation.
Flnancial Review
Rese￿e5 are held at a level that is commensurate with maintaining the abiltty to provide emergency
funding to support the local and international communrty in case of need.
The trustees have complied with their dutyto have d¥Je ￿Eard to the guidance on public benefft published
by the Commission in exercising their power5 or duties.
Activities
We managed to hold our key tommunlty evert. Honey Fair with increased attendance and
communrty invofvemerrt. We have also supported the community at various other events.
We have continued to provide grants and donations to individuals and organisations.
Achlevements and Perforniance
The trust has established closer engagement with other organisations in the community. We have also run
community events such a5 Bingo and supported several communty events such as Remembrance Day*
Father Christmas, Civic SeNice, May Day etc.
We continued to make charitable donations kntal￿, national￿ and International￿ via Lion5 Clubs
International Fund.

There were no Endowment funds. The Restrirted funds were income receNed from members of the club
and these fvnds a￿ specifKalty used to pay forthe administratNe and social costs of the trust.
