Structure, governance and management
The governing document is in the form of a constitution.
The charity is constituted as a CIO.
Trustee selection is by existing trustees.
Objectives and activities
As stated in the governing document, the charity exists for the public benefit, the advancement of the Christian Faith in Penzance and Newlyn and such other parts of the UK and the world as the charity Trustees from time to time decide.
The Covid-19 pandemic meant that the trust’s activities were frozen during the period of this report, with no activities to report and no financial transactions.
Achievements and performance
-
Trustees’ meetings were not able to be held during this period because of the pandemic lockdown.
-
A Hope & Anchor bank account was opened with Nat West but the stalling of developments at several levels meant that no money was placed into the account, and that remains the current situation.
-
Though lockdown restrictions were lifted to a degree, the trust remained inactive up to the end of the period covered in this report.

Current situation
The Covid-19 situation, combined with some personnel changes, mean that, while all the trustees remained in place at the end of the current period, the trust was effectively in hibernation.
