for an early service to also altend a seN¢e.
Durfng 2023 we had tsvo Clergy varxn¢ie$ for a number of rnonlhs. sèMe•s then led by worshlp leaders and a
L¢¢ensed lay minister alon9 wilh Ihe retired Priests ￿ have permission to officiate. In September a new member of
clergy was licensed to St. Thornas's Church Rh￿ c8me in as a Transition Minister to enable the church to move
beyond a d5fflcult couple of years. We then still had a vacancy at SL Anns %thith was filled in November. but the new
member of der9y wouldn't move in unlil 2024.

four weeks over the Sumrner holidays. and the monlhty breakfa51 services eontinuad at St. Marfs Towyn. Ther8 are
plan8 to expand m888y thurch and to start a youth group for older children.
School services have continued wthin all lh8 churche5. and were èxeeptionally well attended, in Rhyl they Saw over
3000 p80ple attend th8 schc<)I serwces over 8 series of days. scho￿$ also CODtiTrue$ in assembli88 Fn schools and
thera are future plans to expand Into the High scfvJ)l in Rh￿.
All our churches now also hokl a monthly Al Age Family Se￿Ce.

We have many families comin9 fc¥Ydrds for baptism for their childrèn ￿111￿ is mlly wsitove and shows that people still
very much value the churche5.
The number of wedding5 contin￿$ to Int￿$e in the MissSon afea. wth all thur¢hes holding wedding8, and tha number
of funera18 remains conslanl in all the elwrches. value the Opportuni￿e$ all these events giv8 us in Ih8ir drflerent
ways, and we are planning on holding training sessions fof pastoral assislants *ithin thg Mission area.

The bulldings committee is now being led by 8 Priest with PTO to thè Mission area has had pre￿ou$ experfence of
bulldlngs work. One ol Ihe (*urches had their quinquennial Ihis year and 8rw)ther is due in 2024. One ol the main
purposes ol this group now VAII be to look at Ihe church buildifigs we have to ensure they are fit for purpose and also
that they are being u88d in Ihe b88t way which benefits thè of the Missfjon aw. Each church is being encouragèd
to have designated t￿991 for maintenance and rèpairs. all thè bjlding Infomiation wlll also be ¢entralised in our
Mission Area office.
