Objects: The Promotion Of The Effective Use Of Charitable Resources Of Performing Arts Archives Whose Collections Are Open To The Public And Are Operated On A Not-For-Profit Basis With The Aim Of Advancing The Arts And Its Heritage For The Benefit Of The Public By:1 Advocating The Widest Possible Engagement In Performing Arts Heritage Collections By The General Public;2 Promoting The Historical Importance Of Collections To Regional And National Communities And Increase Public Awareness Of The Need To Preserve Such Collections For The Future;3 Providing A Forum For The Exchange And Dissemination Of Information, Expertise And Best Practice In Performing Arts Collections And Heritage Organisations; And4 Assisting With The Development Of Skills In Documenting And Promoting The Performing Arts, To Enable Better Safeguards And Thus Greater Access To All Potential Users.
