How the Gharity is constituted
The Newquay ChTiStadelphians are an independent, self-governing church within
the worldwide Christadelphian fellowship. The church is a registered as a CIO.

achievements of the charity
during the year
Activities have continued - but since covid our demographic5 have changed
onsiderably lo encompass hybrid face to face meetings and media
transmissions to and from Quarry Park Road and private homes.
The availability and ease of use of Zoom and WhatsApp has be￿me more
prevalent among the sick and elderly., and with rising costs and increased tax
burdens- by those living out of town.. and, it has enabled us to We have
maintain regular services and social contact for our members- with
opportunities for young and senior members lo share the Breaking of Bread
servi￿, and lo participate in Studies, Bible reading and prayers.. and to engage
in informal discussion.
The Charity holds weekly meetings ftir worship. prayer. and Bible teaching,
mainly on Sunday mornings and Tuesday evenings,. and we have continued lo
offer a Bible bas￿ series of Sunday School lessons for children of all ages.
Members of the public are invited by personal invitation, and external
noliceboard displays.
Wejoin with CBM, CCH, and CMaD groups around the worfd to share
presentations, illustrated updates and musical praise presentations, and with
local groups ft)r sludy and fraternal gatherings.
Active membership now stands al 28 (down from last year 311.
The physical and spiritual welfare of all our members (both young and vulnerable
seniors) continues to be our prime COn￿rn.
With a reduction in members, and a general squeeze on incomes - funds
re￿iVed by the Ecclesia have decreased- but this has been paralleled by
reduced expenditure,. and the Charity continues lo take regular collections for
other charities - to support Bible preaching in the UK and Missionary work
overseas. Christadelphian Care Homes, and other organisations offering
teaching. pastoral, and welfare support to the elderly and others in need.
Donations have been made lo various Christadelphian and non-christadelphian
organisations to help feed and clothe the needy. Some members have donated
provision5 weekly to the local Food Bank- for those experiencing shortages and
hardship.
We monitor pastoral and other needs of those associated with the Charity, and
of non-christadelphians (who are Introduced to us or seek our helpl and we
provide ￿asonable support where possible.
The foregoing meetings, activtties and inilialives were arranged by the ChaTtty to
meet its interrelated objectives and to benefit both members of the Charity and
those members of the public who we were pleased lo welcome and seNe.

There is no reserves policy. A set of pre-authorised transfers to other ftjnds
support the general expenses and outgoing donations of the church.
Extraordinary expenditure items are subject to the approval of the church at a
Busirtess Meeting.

Regular collections. and gift aided donations remain the principal means of
income. These have enabled us to cover our commitments during the year and
mombers have continued to respond generously to international appeals for
financial help with natural disasters.
