|||||Active membership<br>now stands at 28 (down from last year 31).||||
|||||With a reduction<br>in members,<br>and a general squeeze on incomes - funds||||
|||||received<br>by the Ecclesia decreased —but this was paralleled<br>by reduced||||
|||||expenditure.|||(|
|||||The physical<br>and spiritual<br>welfare of all our members<br>(boih young<br>and vulnerable||||
|||||seniors) continued<br>to be our prime concern.||||
|||||The Charity continued<br>to take regular collections for other charities to support||||
|||||Bible preaching<br>in the UK and Missionary<br>work overseas,<br>Christadelphian|Care|||
|||||Homes for the elderly, and other organisations<br>offering teaching,<br>pastoral,|and|||
|||||welfare support to the elderly, the young and others<br>in need.||||
|||||Donations<br>were made to various<br>Christadelphian<br>and non-Christadelphian||||
|||||organisations<br>to help feed and clothe the needy. Some members<br>donated||||
|||||provisions<br>weekly to the local Food Bank - for those experiencing<br>shortages||and||
|||||hardship.||||
|||||We monitor pastoral and other needs ofthose associated<br>with the Charity,||and||
|||||ofnon-Christadelphians<br>(who are introduced<br>to us or seek our help) and we||||
|||||provide reasonable<br>support where possible. We had the opportunity<br>to engage(||||
|||||with a small group ofasylum seekers (based<br>in Newquay<br>by the Home Office||||
|||||until 06/04/2023). 11or 12ofthese young<br>men joined with us at our Sunday|||l|
|||||Services; and met (with a translator)<br>for daytime<br>study classes each Tuesday||||
|||||and Thursday —learning<br>English<br>whilst studying<br>Bible principles.||||
|||||The foregoing<br>meetings,<br>activities and initiatives<br>were arranged<br>by the Charity|||to|
|||||meet its interrelated<br>objectives and to benefit both members<br>ofthe Charity||and||
|||||those members ofthe public who we were pleased to welcome and serve.||||
