## **Objectives of the Charity**

Indian Pentecostal Church of God (IPC) Cambridge is a charitable incorporated organisation incorporated on 03[rd] December 2018, based in Cambridgeshire. We abide by the doctrines and principles of Apostolic Churches, so as a charity organisation we are keen to help our community to spread Love, joy, and peace in Jesus Christ. We work alongside other churches across Cambridgeshire to achieve our goals.

## **Activities of the Charity**

We as a church conduct outreach ministry in the communities, where we offer prayer and emotional support for people in need while respecting their religious values. We set up fundraising events to support the underprivileged within our community while providing counselling and empowerment sessions for the youths.

We also support many churches and orphanages throughout India by giving clothes, food, and school essentials, to encourage the advancement of education in the villages. Our charity aims to aid the betterment of the working class and less fortunate in India, based on the teachings in the Bible.

## **Achievements and Performance**

The charity holds regular meetings throughout the year in which individuals are educated and prepared on the ideologies of the Christian faith. Our church focuses on impacting the community in a positive way, with outreaches and youth ministries, charity events, personal counselling, and regular church services.

## **Future Developments**

The church intends to continue with regular Sunday services via zoom until the Covid 19 pandemic has ended. We will continue to hold our Sunday school, youth, and ladies’ meetings during the pandemic. We also aim to build relationships within the community and work together with other organisations across the United Kingdom and Ireland to coordinate gospel events and conferences.

## **Independent Examiner’s Report on the Accounts**

We report on the accounts of the charity for the year ended 31[st] May 2020 set out on pages 8-9.

## **Respective responsibilities of Trustees and Examiner:**

The charity’s trustees are responsible for the preparation of the preparation of the accounts. The charity’s trustees consider that an audit is not required for this year under section 43(2) of the Charities Act 1993 (the Act) and that an independent examination is needed.

It is our responsibility to examine the accounts (under section 43(3)(a) of the 1993 Act), to follow the procedures laid down in the General Directions given by the Charity Commissioners (under section 43(7)(b) of the Act), and to state whether particular matters have come to our attention.

## **Basis of independent examiner’s report:**

Our examination was carried out in accordance with the General Directions given by the Charity Commission. An examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by charity and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also includes consideration of any unusual items of disclosures in the accounts and seeking explanations from the Trustees concerning any such matters. The procedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be required in an audit, and consequently no opinion is given as to whether the accounts present a ‘true and fair view’ and the report is limited to those matters set out in the statements below.

## **Independent examiner’s statement:**

In connection with our examination, no matter has come to our attention:

which gives us reasonable cause to believe that, in any material aspect, the requirements to keep accounting records in accordance with section 41 of the 1993 Act; and to prepare accounts which record with the accounting records and to comply with the accounting records of the 1193 Act have not been met; or to which, in our opinion, attention should be drawn in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
