Sumrnary of the Year
Our activities &imed to respond to key issues faced by lo¢al LGBTQ+ people including lack of visibility, social isolation,
conccTllS about safety, and challenges to p¢opl¢ b¢ittg th¢mselv¢s when accessing services. We also provided support to
otheT local sctviccs and orgallisations to ellsur¢ th¢y accessible and genuinely inclusive to LGLITQ+ people. We
delivered a rich prograrnme of activities for LGBTQ+ p¢opl¢ and allies iocluding monthly walks between March and
September- evcnts including social gatherings, a Pride pi¢ni¢ and a Trans Awareness Week event, a programme of LGiIT+
Hisiory Mottth events joilltly with partllcts and ￿ online briefing on our research Into LGBTQ+ p¢opl¢'$ ¢xp¢ri¢n¢es of
health and carc services.

We published our research into l.GBTQt p¢oplc's cxpericnccs of health and care. W¢ wcre pleased io be ablc to prescnt
this research at the Health and Wcllbcing Board and Healthwatch Redbridg¢'s AGM. We also participated in events
iticluditLg rntming a stall at th¢ Disability Festival and cngaged with a good numbcr of people while making a 'Celebrating
the Raittbow in Redbridge, collag¢.
We continued to support otheT local organisations to ernsure they are LGBTQ+ inclusive. We also worked with Comlnunity
A¢tion Rcdbridge and RedbFLdge CoullcRI io facilirate involvement of local LGBTQ+ people in shaping the Ilford Amval
regcneration projeLI. We are pleased to have start¢d to work with local sery1¢￿ and others to better understand the
experiences and needs of local LGB TQ* young p¢ople.
We were pleased to add Jan Scott to our board of trustees this year. In January 2025 we held away day for staff and
ttuslees io develop a new three-y¢ar srrat¢sy. We have also grown our teatll of volunteers who help us to dcliver activities.
