Objectives and Activities
The charlvs object is:
o promote scthl indusion for the public IEnefft, by preventlrrfJ rTEn ag&d 18 or older

achieved by assisting them to integrate into society through the provision of facilities in
which they can meet to urKlertake creatfve. phys￿al or recrealjonal acllvslAes, leam or pass

It is very important to the trust￿5 th3t the charity helps to provide support, understandlng
and a safe environment to males who ￿nt to join due to suffering from depression and
other mental health problems. Safeguarding and suitsbility is very Important.
Ma5n
b'ettives for the folk)wi
In shaping our obiectives for the following year and plannlng our attivities, the Trustees
have considered the Charity Commission's guidan￿ on publlc benefft and this is regularly re-
vlsfted.
I Contlnue to expand our membership and ralse our profile In the community, with an
emphasis upon supp)rtlng memb￿5 most susceptible to being socialFy exduded.
2 Increase our rnnge of attivities to sup￿)rt a viider range of pK)tential members.
Examples of such attivities will be model making and phot(NJraphy.
Achievements and Performance
Over the past year we have seen some of our valued trustees stand thwn due to health issues.
Their time and efforts have been greaty ap￿￿lat￿. At the same time, we have teen very
lucky In securfng the support of new trust￿ to ensure the Charity continues to grow and
develop.
Whilst we have lost and gained trusteeslmembers, the actual number of members contlnues
to remaln statlc thls year. Thls has not, however. Impeded our efforts In provldlng Se￿I￿S
within our l(Kal comfflunity, but it d(Es mean that we have fewer skilled rnembers to get
invotved in projects.
In the last year we have supported l(Kal Individuals by maklrvJ and repairing a numLEr of
items, induding a marble top t3ble, walkirKJ slicks arKI Yard of Ale, and suprK>rted the wider

Independent Examinerfs Report to the Members of Wlnterton Men In Shed
I report on the accounts of wIntert￿ Men tn Sheds for the year ending 31& March 2024,
which are *t out on pages 8 to 10.
Respective responsibilities of Trustees and examiner
The charitvs trustees are respO￿ble for the preparation of the accounts. The charty s
tswstees consider that an audlt is not required for thls year under sectlon 144 of the Charlties
Act 2011 (the Charitles Att) that an independent examlnation is needed.
It is rny responsibilty to:
examlne the accourts under settlon 145 of the Charfues ACL
to follow the procedures laid down in the general Directlons given by the Charity
Commlssion (urK*r section 145(5Xb) of the Charities A¢ and
to state whether pa￿Cular matters have come to my attentlon.
Basis of independent examlnerfs report
My examlnatlon was (2rried out In accordan￿ wtth general DireLlJons glven by the tharSty
Commlsslon. An examination includes a review of the accounting recorts kept by the charity
and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also Indudes
consideration of any unusual items or dlsdosures In the accounts, and ￿kIng explanations
from the trustees Con￿rning any ￿ matters. The pr(Kedures urKlertaken do not provide
all the eVIden￿ that would be required in an aLMlIt, arKI consequently no opinion Is given as
to whether the accounts present a and fairf view and the report is limited to those
matters set out in the statement bdow.
Independent examinerfs statement
In connection with my examination, m materTal fflattets have come to my attention whith
gives me Cau￿ to believe that in, any material respect:
accounting records were not kept in accordan￿ with section 130 of the Charities Att or
the ac£ounts do not accord wlth the accounting reo)rts
I have come across no matters in connection with the examlnation to whlch attentlon should
be drawn in order tt) enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
