Winterton Men in Sheds is a registe￿ Charitable Incorporated Organlsatlon govemed by Its
Constitution (foundation m(xJel). The organisation was registered with the Charlty
Commission on the 301h November 2018 and was amended on 231fl August 2020.

The trustees form the ExLYuts"ve Committee of the charity. The mernbers of the ExecLrtive
Committee are el￿e￿ at the Annual General Meeb'ng by the member5 of the Charity. All
membefs are circulated wth invitations to nominate trustees in advance of the AGM.
The Constitution of the Chartty states that there must te at least four charity trustees and
the maximum number of charity trustees is fourteen.

In conjunction with the Trustees there is a committee resry)nsible for the day to day gener35
running of the shed. Currenuy this is made up of the Trustees, however there are plans to
exparMJ in the futu￿ to include committee member5 from the general mernbership.
The major risks, to which the charity is exposed. as identified by the Trustees, have been
reviewed and systems have been established to mltigate those risks. All systems and
procedures are reviewed regulady to ensure they meet charity law armd our own
organlsations aims and objettives. The charity has guidance and a speclfic trustee who is
responsible for the Safeguarding of every member.

It is very importsnt to the trustee5 that the chanty hdps to provi(le support, under5tsndlng
and a safe environment to males who want to fr)in due to suffefing from depression and

whith ha5 continued to be very supwrtive of the Winterton Shed, and NFU Mutual (Brigg
nch) FNhich granted us £6,379. These funds were not restritted to any part¢cular projett,
therefore we will use them to maintain and gJStain Shed for at least the next 3 years.
We decided to Suspend memtership fees again this year. due to the pandemic redwing the
time members We￿ able to attend the Shed in previ(xJs years, >￿ed that this would
also appeal to new memLw5.
EX*nditu￿ ha5 InC￿ased this year, including the rent, but this now indude5 the whole
building instead of downstairs only. Electricity costs have I￿reased signifiG3ntJy, ￿rne due to
rising prices, and of this to u* of heatirwJ to dry out the Sh8J after the flo(xa,
In coming year V￿ need to firmj kntegies to encourdge new Mernt￿rship. This wlll
redu￿ the burden of generating income through repai￿ and crafts, which is rK)w falling on 3
members with the required skills to do this.
