Deal Tfi is a local based triathlon club. offering an opportynity lo be able to tske part n sport. Its main
a¢tlvlty1s the promotlon of community partiupation in healthy recreation in partr'culaTty Ihe provlsion of
fa¢ilitle8 for swimming, cycling and running.
A¢hievements and perfomian
During the year the dub hosted 3 Tunning events being our half morothon. 10k and s-mile race
continue to prove popular the wnning community.
The club supported the following charities..
The East Kent Hospitals Charity
The club has been SUPPOTting this th•rity since 2001 in memory ofclub founder member Roger Francis-
Darby. Our donatlon from the Th"no8aur 10k race goes to the Skin Cancer Depart￿nt at the Kent &
Canterbury Hospital.
AirAmbulance Kent Surrey Su8sex
Every ye4T we host a Club Rlde, vthere we invite members and others from the cycling community to
n ug lo remember Ihose have 88dty been taken from us in cycling accidents. The ¢A)natyon 1$
made from monies raised from the Coffee and Cake Stop en-route.

A donation is also made to the above ￿ the support they offer at the Dwtosaur 1 Ok t+A)ich is held in
Deal.

Financial rwiew
The resLblts forthe CIO'S trading year saw total income of £42,719. Bank balances held at 30 September
2024 were £57,435. Total reserves at the end of Ihe year were £62,700. There are no restricted
reserves.
It has been agfe•d to hold re$eNes equal to at least six months expeno)ture to meet our dub
commitments 88 our race costs, club Subsidles and any unforeseen issues.
There are CLKrenty no uncertainties about the charity conlinuing as a golng concern. H¢)wever, the
lJusteé'8 do ievlew and monitor any188u8s *lthln the dub.
We hav• idenbfied fjny potential fisks that the dub could lace for example event cancellation, 4•thich
have been recorded on our risk assessment fe&ister.
