and Wa18s as a Charit8bte Incorr￿ated Organisat￿￿ on the 30 November 2018 with charty registered
nurnber 1180936.
The obje¢ts of the chartty shall be the promotion of cc¥nmunty parb.clpat￿n in healthy recreats'on for the
benefit of chiklren and young adults li￿ng in deprNtid areas in East London and Essex. The chanty aims
to advance in lrfe and relteve needs of young people through spjrling activthes by providing support and
acbviti8$ which develop their skills. CapaC￿e5 and ca￿11￿8$ to enab￿ them to P8rbcipal8 in so¢￿ty as
mature and responsible individualg. It also aims to athanc• èdLb(*.￿ through physKal 8ctivthe$ for thè
rel￿1 of tha mental sid(ness of young paopI8.

St Franc18 Ho#plc8- is one of the largest aduh hospice5 in ts UK and ha8 been operatirKJ for over
35 years. The hosprce speckglises in provKling for any person, from any faith or cultural
b8ckground. who have t*en diagnosed wilh a Serious illn8s$ who are Ir￿n9 in the HaveriThJ,
Bren￿￿0￿, Barking, Dagenham. Rethri(h38 and West Essex areas. The hosw'ce prov￿8 a range of
free ￿alth and soci81 care lo thc*e suffering Ihg effects of I￿lmItIng iMnes888, including supporting
carers and famity memt*rs.
Th8 hospice team also pro￿deS ￿ for pgople at the of life. at h(xne and at the hospieé. They
assess and address spiritual needs, linking in kxal rel￿1￿8 kaders and we do our best to
commc¥Jale any SFecfft dthry f￿￿1r￿ent custom or rrtual thal needs to be upheld. Often faM￿Y
and friends provide the bulk of care. this can be emOt￿na￿ and physically hard and the staff offer
support to those caring for someone wtho is rtearw￿ th8 of Irfe.. stsndiThJ ty th￿r side. supporttng
them with both experience and care.

It also allows benef￿la￿S lo express th￿'r thoughts and feelmgs in o)nfidence but with the utsnosl
respect for their pnwdcy.

The charity has no requirement for reserves except for winding up costs shoLtld the charity no longer

reserves held at any point in time relates to dc￿ationS which are stl to be granted lo thè
bonefIc￿rIe8.
