and Wales as a Charitsble Incorporated Organisation on the 30 November 2018 with charity register*J
number 1180936.
The objects of the charty Shall be the adVant￿Ont of charitable purp)ses (according to the law of
England & Wales) for the benefit of the public. as the tTUStees see fft from time to lime, in p8rticulaT but
not limited lo, making grants to chantw, or other organisations Of indiwduals wort¢ing to adv8nce
cfiaritable wrFoses. such that communty part￿*patiOn in heatthy recreati￿ for children and young
adults is promoled.

St Franc18 Hospicè- is one of the largest &luft Iytces in Ihe UK 8nd has been operatsng for over
35 years. The hospi￿ specwlises in providing care for any ￿rsOn, from any faith or Gu￿Ula1
background, who have been diagnosed with a serious illness who arg living in the Havering,
Brentsvood. Barking, D8genhom. Redbrvsje and West Essex areas. The hospice provides a range of
free health and Sockel care to those suffeTing the effects of lrfe-limiting illnesses. including supporting
C8rer$ and lamity members.
The hospice team also prowdes care for pec¢Jle at the end of life. al home and at the hospice. They
assess and address spiritual needs. linking in wth k)cal reljgious leaders and we do our b8St to
accommodate any specrfic dietary reqLIir￿enl cust(*m or ritU81 that needs lo be upheld. Often faniity
and frEnds prowde the bulk of eare, this can be emotionalty and physscalty hard and the stsff offer
support to those caring for someone who ts nearing the end of lrfe.. standing ty their side, supporting
them with both experience and tare.

The charity has no requirement for reserves except for wnding up costs should the charity no longer ba
able to meet 115 required levels of funding. All funds are dtstributed to worthwhib causes and the only
reserves hehj at any point in time relatss to dLN)atrons recewed are yet lo be granted to the
benefi¢iaries.
