The club is overseen by Lions Club International and follows its rules and regulations. All Trustees, members and volunteers are unpaid and are recruited from the local community. ## **ACTIVITIES AND OBJECTIVES FOR THE YEAR:** Helping those in need in the community this is carried out by completing physical tasks, organising and supporting local events and donating grants and awards to local clubs, community groups to help them complete their community projects and also to local individuals in need. The charity completes fund raising to pay for its activities and all members' costs are funded by the members themselves. ## **ACHIEVEMENTS AND PERFORMANCE:** This year we have completed 28 community service projects and activities such as the following: Christmas activities including providing a Senior Citizens Christmas lunch and local Santa Sleigh. The donation of grants and awards to local clubs, community groups and individuals in need, including local scouts and guide groups, local and national sports and disability sports activities, and local arts and literature projects. We run a community book swap and have supported local carnivals with volunteering. We help with Charity street collections and local environmental projects.We have raised funds and collected humanitarian aid for those in need in Ukraine. We have organised collections of unwanted spectacles to be sent for recycling and onward delivery around the world.
