Achievements and performance

Summary of the main
achievements of the charity,
identifying the difference the
charity’s work has made to
the circumstances of its
beneficiaries and any wider
benefits to society as a
whole.
Para 1.20 The charity was fortunate to secure funding
for the warm space scheme run by the local
authority, enabling us to extend our coffee
morning to provide a warm, welcoming open
house providing hot food and social
interaction. This made such a difference to
those who attended as they valued the
opportunity to build new relationships and
share information and ideas.
The charity was again fortunate in securing
funding for our roof, which is now water tight
and secure. This has been an ongoing
project for the church and we can now look
forward to opening the building for more
community projects.
Our Foodbank has been under increasing
pressure this year as needs have increased.
We have taken on more volunteers from the
community who have a heart of the work of
the Foodbank. Despite our resources being
stretched, we were delighted to be able to
provide 36 hampers for those most in need
in our community at Christmas.
The church has continued to provide a safe,
welcoming and inclusive environment which
open to all. Providing support and
encouragement for the members, community
and wider community.
