## **Summary report from Trustees** 

Harrietsham Preschool CIO was registered in November 2018 by the trustees of Harrietsham Playgroup Association (1021287) with a view to moving from an Unincorporated Charity structure to a Charitable Incorporated Organisation. 

In October 2021 new trustees were appointed to the CIO in anticipation of the transfer completing. However, despite enlisting the support of the local authority (KCC -TEP) the completion of the transfer to the CIO structure was not completed during the financial year 2023-24. The trustees anticipate that the transfer will complete during financial year 2024-25. 

During the reporting period 2023-24, the preschool continued to be delivered via the Unincorporated Charity pending the transfer to the new CIO. Please refer to the Charities Commission record for **Harrietsham Playgroup Association (1021287).**
